TABLES:
With this option the system will unfold a list of painters
ordered by name; each line also contains their native country,
the century of their activity and the pictorial current to
which they belong.
In this list are only included those painters who have
digitalized images of their tables.
Then you will have access to a summary of the principal
works and finally to their images.
To change or select the options of the system you will be
able to use the keyboard (PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, Esc, Enter,
Arrows) or the mouse.
SELECTION:
You will be able to select the painters by:
NAME: With < enter > in the bos corresponding to the
first letter of their last name.
NO SELECTION: No previous selection will be made.
CLASSIFICATION:
Whichever the selection, painters will appear in alphabetical
order. In order to achieve an efficient location, we have
separated the compoun last names. For example, Leonardo da
Vinci will appear as Vinci Leonardo da; Jan van Eyck as Eyck
Jan van; etc.
SCREENS:
Each screen is split into 3 parts.
RETURN: Selecting this option you will return to the main menu.
PAINTERS: The list of painters their principal data.
The symbol indicates that there are table images.
By selecting a painter from this list will appear
his works.
CONTINUE: By selecting this option you will be shown
the nest list of painters according to the selection
made.
TABLES:
TABLES: The symbol indicates that there is an image of the
talbe.
EXIT: With the key Esc you will return to the previous screen.
IMAGES:
If your PC includes a Sound Blaster sound card, together with
the image you will listen to a digitalized musical theme.
The emission of sound can be eliminated by entering the system
with the command: BEGIN OFF.
Pressing the key Z, a zoom of the upper part of the image will
be progressively accomplished up to 3 times (only in VGA and
SVGA plates).
Pressing any other key you will return to the previous screen.
